Thanks for taking the time to enter -hope you enjoy the gorgeous diaries!

Jessie
Prague
Prague is like a gothic ice-cream cake! Ornately decorated with a dark sense of humour. Beer & goulash wonderful on a cold day 🙂

Johanna
Italy
What’s great about it? Everything! Architecture, gardens, food, style, the sound of the language.

Amanda
An unnamed national park in the wilds of north-east Thailand
Completely untouched, non-touristy, pristine and lushious. It’s where local Thai families go for a break from life: http://bit.ly/uPI3XW

Kate
Iran
iran’s hospitality stole my heart… imagine the hospitality of turkey on steroids! not to mention the breathtaking islamic architecture, persian antiquities and to-die-for sweets.

Sharon
underwater world off Tahiti atolls
abundant sealife including reef sharks; sun shining through water penetrating 20m and beyond; beautiful blue colour of the ocean, never to be seen anywhere else!

kathryn
Mexico
Life is lived outside. People cook, eat, socialise, gather, party, fight and make up on the street, nothing is hidden, everything is shared.

Tess
To see and support the Dalai Lama
The peace and the love and the serenity I found during the Dalai Lama’s visit cannot be compared to anything else on earth…

Wendy
Alice Springs by train for the Beanie Festival
I’m in love with the red dirt, the green bush, the people and the great energy surrounding the Beanie Festival, a wonderul community initiative.

Natalie
Broome
Broome the soul of Australia. I could count my toes while standing in the clear ocean, looking onto white sand, red dirt feeling very grateful.

Mark
Barcelona
the food…find a real tapas bar with the locals

Christine
Palm Island, Australia
Being welcomed into the community as a Seconds to Give Australia volunteer working to create opportunities for Palm’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents.

Johanna
Italy!
The food, the men, the language, the beauty of the cities and the countryside. Well, everything!

Brad
Vanuatu – Tanna Island
The remoteness and beautiful landscape, simplicity of the locals lifestyle and their happiness and great smiles despite living in poverty.

Ashlee
Chuncheon Dokkebi (Goblin) Festival
This festival has such an amazing and electric atmosphere with surprises at every turn. The people of South Korea are also very generous and hospitable.

Renae
Giverny in France
As I walked along the Seine from Vernon to Monet’s Garden in Giverny I saw my favourite Monet works brought to life. Truly moving.

Michelle
Venice
Venice stole my heart the minute I sat down to dinner. The peaceful lapping of the water mixed with  linguini and chianti – magical.

Enzo
Italy
The beaches in southern Italy along with my extended family.  They adore having me around whilst we swim in the turquoise water.
