The other day i was in Woodstock on St Kilda Road. It was about 17.30, and of course i was stuck in traffic, enjoying my boredom and ruminating some dark thoughts on the city congestion.
I looked in the mirror and to my surprise, I was followed by Panda, another Flexicar. I waved at the driver and he waved back, then i showed him my Flexicard, giving it two thumbs up. He thumbed up me back, laughing.
We kept on driving one in front of the other until Fitzroy street, and we finally split in a concerto of horns, hand waving and laughter.
I had no idea – and still have no idea – on who was Panda’s driver but through Flexicar we belonged to the same tribe and somehow communicated.
I told my awesome adventure in the office the next day. Ruth told me I was lame. I still think it was great!
Have you had a true Flexicar adventure yourself? We’re keen on hearing it! Feel free to post back.
